Was shopping around with Amelia in Causeway Point, after having late lunch with Mom at Toast Box! We both love shopping in Popular! HAHAHA! But it's mad queue! =x I think cos it's still the start of the school term! ZZZ

We drank Coffee Bean while I helped her wrapped her new journal! =.=" Copy cat!

Milk Based, Double Chocolate!

OMG, this is definitely too sweet for me! I like the Coffee based one more! =.="

Then, went to meet my boy! At AMK Hub! :D We had Pepper Lunch for dinner, so it kinda becomes Pepper Dinner. LOL. Quite a lot of people there, lucky we got in before the huge crowd! :D

Cookies for my boy

Tomorrow is our First Monthsary! So I decided to bake some delicious cookies for my boy! <3

Hunted for the ingredients before baking! Like a tired only. =x Used the recipe from this website , and did some variations to it. I always alter the ingredients of recipes, cos I always find it too sweet for my preference. (:

These are the ingredients. I totally ignored the half teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda and the pinch of salt!

170 g Plain Flour

Self-Raising Flour

Bought this Self-Raising Flour cos I thought there's no more flour at home! ><

100 g Sugar

Couldn't find dark brown sugar! So I replaced everything with only 100 g of normal white crystal sugar. I decreased the amount of sugar from a total of 160 g to 100 g, and I still find it too sweet! =.="

Raisins :D

I replaced the chocolate chips with raisins! :D Wanna try something new, plus it's the stupid market that doesn't have any chocolate chips in stock. ):

115 g of Butter

I decreased it to about 100 g of butter! Healthier choice! :D

Egg

Look! The egg my mom bought is super round! It's unlike the normal oval shape one! That's why I couldn't take a picture of it on the table, cos it kept rolling and rolling! =.=" And putting it in the bowl is not as clear!

1/2 Teaspoon of Vanilla Essence

Use the cap to measure! :D It's a short cut my Food and Nutrition taught us back in Secondary School days. (:

1. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

I manually cream instead of the electric mixer, and boy it was tiring!
2. In another bowl, mix the egg and vanilla, and then gradually beat into the butter mixture.

3. Sift over the flour, bicarbonate of soda (ignored), and salt (ignored).

Using the folding-in method! :D

Take out your baking tray!

I used a cake tin! HAHAHA! I didn't bother to grease the tin also, cos it doesn't really stick! And it's much healthier! :D

4. Finally add in the ~~chocolate chips~~ raisins and mix well to combine.

5. Place heaped teaspoonfuls of dough at least 5cm apart, as the mixture will spread out.

I ignored the 5cm apart thingy too! Cos I'm using a infra-red oven. Not those conventional oven! Thus my baking time is also different. I only took about 3 minutes for each batch.

If you're using a normal conventional oven, it would take around 10-15 minutes. [Just bake it too lightly brown, and it's done!]

My First Countdown

Super elated when my boy told me he would be reaching Singapore early in the morning. While I was having breakfast with my parents, he came and looked for me! After breakfast, we headed to Causeway point and took bus 966 to 112 Katong. I've never been there before, and dad is always telling me the food there is damn nice. =.="

We alighted too early, and ended up having to walk long distance there. =x Cos he forgotten to jot down the details after he had done his 'homework' last night! >.<

Here we arrived, fed that hungry boy. And the food was nice indeed.

Next we headed to Parkway Parade through Roxy Square. Luckily I was clever enough to track our route there. Don't even need to take a bus. Saw dad at his workplace! And I complained to him that 112 Katong has nothing to shop! =.=" Like seriously.

We went around searching for notebooks! And hang around awhile. And then we headed off to Farrel Park City Square Mall to meet Amelia and her co. (: For dinner! :D

We were dead hungry when we reached, so we bought a waffle to eat first while waiting for them to arrive. Shopped at Popular! :D And then finally met them and off we went for Shabu-Shabu! :D

Went to my boy's house for the second time. (: Had loads of fun as usual! Sneak a ride on his dad's bike! FUN~~~ ! It's like a princess there! Being fetched here and there and everywhere! :D And I must say, there must be a car to travel around in Malaysia! ._.

We had stingray and clay-pot tofu for dinner. Then we went to JUSCO. And he kinda got lost! We finished walking the whole JUSCO in just roughly one hour. He said cos it's me. =.="

Then we went Old Town for coffee. Talked about all those things back in primary school. Memories. Didn't really bought anything though.

Indeed, I had a wonderful time, more beautiful than you could ever explain in words. It's definitely a different kind of happiness from what I've been feeling in the past. This is even better.

Initially meeting jidan at my house here, ended up papa decided to have breakfast at Yishun. So poor boy had to travel to Yishun to meet me! We had breakfast, and off we go to Pasir Ris Mrt to meet the rest.

Our class went to Marina Bay Sands today, an excursion!

Though it's quite fun, we had to be in formal attire, and obviously I hated it a lot. =x

At MBS, we visited these two suites.

Singapura suite has a masterbedroom and second bedroom, both with toilets that have double sinks, bathtuband a beautiful makeup mirror! Thespacious living room also has an attached bar. Surprisingly, there is even a media room and powder room, and anall-in-one printer (scanner, printer, copier and fax) is also provided which isreally of conveniences for business clients.

While the luxurious Straits suite has additional dining area with dry bar, an exercise room with massage area which is definitely great for business clients who likes to keep fit! In addition, it has Jacuzzi bathtub bathrooms! There is even a baby grand piano! The automatic lifting toilet seat covers really scared the hell out of me when I stepped into the toilet as instructed by our organizer, and we had a fun time laughing at my reaction!

We had plans to visit the Singapore Botanical Gardens since I bought my new camera. And so, as time permits, we went there today. However the sky have not been merciful as it was drizzling all the while we were there. =.="

Me and Mommy ordered the same thing. I love the Aglio Olio there! Spicy and chewy, and not soggy. You can choose for your Aglio Olio to be non-spicy too! Thoughtful uh.. :D The salad is coated with sourish sweet dressing. Very appetising, and it can cover the bitterness of the lettuce. The lettuces are very fresh and crunchy!

I treat Silly to Gloria Jean's Coffee, and we took our coffee outside to enjoy. The weather was kinda hot, but it was still windy. It was actually so windy that the leaves and flowers on the trees keep falling, and the pollen of the flowers dropped all over us. =.="

Woke up early in the morning and went to meet my silly to the temple! :D It's been ages. Then, looking at the time, it's still very early. We went to Tampines Mall to have our brunch. Couldn't decide what to eat, so we went to dine at the food-court.

There's this new Tapanyaki store. And I tried the omelette rice. Hmm, quite nice I must say, but it's too filling for me. Then we went to try Gong Cha! Like finally la. I feel the Milk Green Tea is nicer than Koi's Green Milk Tea! LOL.

Then, we bus-ed to Bugis, it's a freaking long bus ride! 67! It took about one hour! >.< then, we went to City Hall. We bought new jeans. But I kena regret buying it. LOL.

Finally, we went back to Causeway point and had Mac'donalds for dinner. I won one cup of Milo and one small fries! :D Silly won nothing! =x

Birthday Celebration w the girls!

Finished school at 3 plus and had a short project meeting with my group mates. Dear Yuanxin came down to Bugis early to accompany me cos we will only be meeting the girls in the evening! And so, we hang around Bugis for 3 hours plus before the girls arrive from their workplace.

While waiting for them, we went to Kinokuniya, and I bought this.

We had our dinner at the Lenas Cafe. From our last experience dining there, the service there is terrible. =/ However, the food arrive quite promptly this time round. And all of us ordered normal spaghetti instead of those baked ones. Cos the last time we dined, it took monkey years for the food to arrive.

Still, the service attitude/culture there still isn't as good as it should be. And the restaurant is too dark for pictures taking ):

We went to AMK Hub today! And we caught this Movie.

Bought things from Mini toons. Some Iphone Home button sticker. And I also bought a monkey hand phone strap for Mommy!

After the Movie, we went to have Pizza Hut. The service there sucks! Like totally. Words cannot even describe how bad it is. To make things worst, the manager is the worst of all! I don't even bother complaining, because the manager him himself is not setting a good example. And I'm sure what complaints he will just throw it in the rubbish bin once the customers left. So, totally no point in complaining.

Even after being at Bugis almost every weekday, Silly still suggested coming here. Zzz, nevertheless, it's still quite fun there, and since I only go to the National Library for my lessons, I hardly hang around and shop in Bugis.

Cookies for Beloved

I had lessons from 8am to 1130am this morning. And I waited for Mom at Causeway point for 2 hours! Was helping her buying stuffs from NTUC, and I had the urge to bake! Besides, someone keep chanting to me that I didn't give him anything for his birthday =.="

I tried the recipe from this website. http://www.best-chocolate-recipes-online.com/chocolate-chip-cookie-recipe.html But, I did some alternations to it. (:

Ingredients according to the recipe

115g/4oz butter at room temperature

50g caster sugar

110g dark brown sugar

1 egg

½ teaspoon vanilla essence

½ teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda

170g plain flour

Pinch of salt

8oz chocolate chips

Preparing the equipments and ingredients

Chocolate Chips

Sugar

Brown Sugar

I didn't have big packets of brown sugar at home, so I substitute the 110g dark brown sugar with these. I don't have enough sachets, so it only adds up to about 40g, and I offset the remaining 70g with caster sugar.

Butter

Plain flour

Egg

Step 1: With an electric mixer, cream butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
The brown sugar doesn't melt =.="

Egg beaten with Vanilla essence

Step 2: In another bowl, mix egg and vanilla. Then gradually beat into the butter mixture. Sift over flour, bicarbonate of soda, and salt. Finally add in the chocolate chips and mix well.

Weighed & Sifted flour

I used the folding-in method to mix the flour into the butter mixture after mixing the beaten egg into the mixture. I also omit the bicarbonate of soda, cos I figured my cookie doesn't need to rise as 'high' as cakes or muffins do. LOL.

I didn't weigh my chocolate chips, to be honest, I don't know how much is 8oz. LOL.

Mix well

Separate lumps on the baking tray

Step 3: Place heaped teaspoonfuls of dough at least 5cm apart, as the mixture will spread out.

I used tablespoons instead of teaspoons, cos I want my cookies to be more than 'bite-sized'. And it doesn't need to be 5cm apart, cos the mixture doesn't spread that much! Only about 1.5cm would be good, but it doesn't matter, you can always 'break-up' the cookie if you think it's too big!

While in the 'oven'

Step 4: Baked until lightly coloured, which takes around 10-15 minutes.

Mine took more than 10 minutes. Zzz.

Done & left to cool

Finally, transfer to a rack and cool.

Hahaha, I've no rack, just put anywhere as long as you don't cover them up. This is quite delicious I must say. (:

We went to Vivo City today as it's been ages since we went there. And the crowds during the train rides was terrible! Now, where's that increased train frequency gone to? =.="

We were damn hungry when we reached, and we didn't want to eat any more fast food! So we settled for Pasta Mania. :D

I went out early in the morning today! With my dad! Because I need to buy my new textbooks (at some ulu pandan places where I didn't even go before), and just nice he's going somewhere near that ulu place. And so I decided to follow him around (when he's at work of course) before I had to meet my girls at Bugis!

I was a little late. And so, we intended to plant a birthday surprise to the totally clueless Yuan xin, and the staff at Pasta De Waraku had to ruin it. =.="

And so, she knew we're coming when we were outside busy lighting up all 21 of the tiny candles. I think we really nearly died! HAHAHA. Cos of the wind .. .. and the scorching hot lighter!

Meet up with Silly at Jurong Point, and I reached early to get the tickets first. We caught Conan today! And it was a great movie actually.

But I don't like the ending! HAHAHA. After that we walked around Jurong Point and racked our brains for new ideas for... ... to make something la. Shall reveal it in the next post.

After that, we slacked. And silly drove me home together with his mom and brother.

Cloth Shopping at Chinatown

We went to Chinatown today! It's been ages since we went there for the desserts! However, after our Macdonald's Lunch, we were too full for any desserts.

Okay, the main motive for going Chinatown is to buy some cloth! I'm making ribbons, learned from Yuanxin's DIY posts. :D And the scrap cloths sold at Chinatown is so much cheaper than other places, especially Spotlight! =/

I'm a poor soul, so I had to hunt for cheaper materials!

Not only cloths, there were ribbons there too! There are many colors and different sizes of width of ribbons to choose from! Those 1/4 inch (width) ribbons are selling at as low as $0.80. That's depending on the length you want. It's cheaper than Popular! =/

But I still always got my ribbons from Popular, cos it's more accessible, and I've Popular discount too! Ah hahaha, that's so 'auntie' of me.

I got the red/white, white/red polka dots ones at Diaso Japan at $2 each. The dark pink and dark blue is only $1 each from Chinatown. The red one is of larger width, $2++ after members' discount from Popular, the rest at $2.15 each (before members' discount) from Popular.

After Chinatown, we went to Alexandra Ikea, walked around, went to Anchor Point to walk around, and then home sweet home!

Met Silly at Causeway Point today and we had Texas for lunch! The new outlet in Causeway Point opened of course. HAHAHA.

Then we went to Rivervale Mall to get something from Diaso. And we rushed back to Causeway Point to catch The Zoo Keeper movie! I saw the trailer and I thought it would be real funny and awesome!

And it really didn't disappoint us!

But, the stupid couple beside us, were doing some disgusting things. Arghhh. Couldn't be bothered with these inconsiderate people. And after that we went to the library for a little while, read some books and we went home. (:

Met silly at city hall and I was late. ): I overshot my train, and nearly got lost at city hall's mrt station. LOL

We both had our lunch before we met, so we walked around suntec, but we were both thirsty so we went to carefour for drinks!

After that, we had nothing to do, so we decided to watch Harry potter and the deathly hallows. I never liked harry potter's shows, cos the characters' names are very confusing. I remembered I read the first few pages of the first book and I got so confused with the characters' names that I didn't touch those books again. HAHAHA.

We didn't get into the final round. But it's a huge achievement that we completed the second round. Hahaha. We didn't expect that we would even pass the first round.

It's quite an achievement I must say, considering that this is a worldwide competition, and we're competing with elite universities students from other countries. A very good experience for us all.

We planned to watch this since ages ago, and today we finally have the time and chance to do so.

So, we went to Plaza Singapura, and had Mac for lunch before the show starts at 3.50pm!! We were there at 1.15pm, so we had plenty of time to waste before the start of the movie!

Transformers: Dark of the moon

Woot, this is a very nice show, never regretted watching it. Almost three hours for the movie duration, definitely is worthwhile. HAHAHA.

But the movie is a bit draggy though. LOL

After the movie we came back to Causeway Point to have our dinner. Mos burger!

Met my baby early afternoon at Jurong East. It's been ages since he'll reach earlier than me! HAHAHA.

Then we headed to Bugis. I decided to treat my baby to Pasta de Waraku. Practically ran into Pasta de Waraku, cos we were super duper hungry.

They have to Lunch Promotion. LOL. We only knew about it after we're seated. It seems a pretty good deal. We both upsized our main dish!

And, fearing that we might have to much food that we were always bloated all those times we visited waraku, we did not order any desserts.

And so, I wasn't very hungry, so I only ordered cream of chicken and fried rice. Jack's Place's fried rice is always delicious. And it's been ages since I ordered fried rice there. Cos people always think it's stupid to eat simple things like fried rice at a restaurant. =.=

Before we went for work today, we watched KUNG FU PANDA 2! I was pestering silly for so long to watch this with me! But he didn't want to! Said it was childish. Until Yuan xin told us it's super hilarious!

I wanna watch this because I wanna see the Panda Dragon Warrior stuff the red bean biscuits into his mouth and 'pu pu pu' all came out when his friend pat on his shoulder! (the trailer)

I made this (Raisin Scones) for my Silly tonight. It's for our 11th Monthsary. Cos he said he like the 'biscuit' at Texas Chicken. =.="

[I realized I've saved this post in draft and forgot to post it. =.= ]

The recipe (:

The Ingredients

- 100g plain flour

- 2 level teaspoons baking powder

- 25g butter

- 1 rounded teaspoon sugar

- 2 level tablespoons (25g) raisins

- 5 tablespoons milk

- 1/2 egg, beaten

Self Raising Flour

Actually the recipe wanted plain flour and baking powder separated. I'm lazy, so self raising flour would be both flour and baking powder. HAHAHA.

Cos I figured end up both of the ingredients also must be mixed together. So self raising flour saves all the trouble!

Butter

Weighing the flour: 100g

Step 1: Sift the plain flour with baking powder.

Step 2: Rub the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

[I still remember what was taught in Food & Nutrition in Secondary school, it's called the rubbing-in method!]

Butter rubbed into sifted flour!

Sugar and raisins added

Step 3: Add the sugar and raisins. Mix well.

Step 4: Add the milk slowly and mix with a palette knife until the dough is soft, but not too wet.

Cutters and Cutting board prepared

Step 5: Knead the dough lightly till it is smooth.

Step 6: Roll the dough till it is 2cm thick.

Step 7: Use a plain cutter to cut out the scones.

Step 8: Arrange the scones on a lightly-greased baking tray/sheet.

Step 9: Brush some beaten egg on top of each scone.

Rolled dough

I accidentally forgotten about Step 9. ): So my scones not shiny on the surface.

Baking time!:

Step 10: Bake the scones in a preheated 190 Degrees Celsius oven on the top shelf for 10-15 minutes.

Step 11: Allow the scones to be cool on the cooling rack.

Step 12: Serve hot with jam, butter or cream.

My oven is a bit special, so the baking time is different, and of course, there's only one shelf to choose from =.="

A day of preparation!

Met my silly in the afternoon to continue watching the show that we've been watching, 'Three Kingdoms'.

After that, he got something on and I went off first in the evening. Before leaving, we went to the pasar malam near his house. And he got me something to eat! It's very very tasty!

And so, went to meet Amelia at Causeway Point, where she accompanied me to NTUC to get the stuffs needed for tomorrow's picnic outing at Sentosa with the girls! (:

Last presentation in Temasek Polytechnic

Today we had our last ever presentation in Temasek Polytechnic. It's for Service Quality Management. One of the subject I hate! =x

Didn't prepare much for the presentation, because I was busy worrying about the 'Interview' session for Career Communications earlier in the day.

It's been past 12midnight so it's officially Christmas! Merry Christmas to all the Earthlings out there! (:

I went to Expo with silly today, and dad sort of gave me a Christmas Present. (: And you're right, he never gives me any Christmas present. And so, I've got a laptop for a Christmas present. It's not anything fancy or expensive. But I still appreciated it. (:

Hahahahaha. Can't wait to use my laptop in school! Such excitment, unbelievable. =.=" Am going to update about the Christmas Celebration with the girls if time permits. (:

I went out with my silly today. And we went Orchard, partly is to sumerge us in the festival atmosphere, and partly is that I'm in search for a gift for our Christmas Gift Exchange Day on the 22nd.

And so, Orchard is forever filled with people, people, and more people. =.=" I hate crowds.

After walking around several malls and after gotten the gift, guess what, we were hungry. =/ And in front of us, there's the Coffeeclub. I've never dine there before seriously. So I've no idea what's nice, except for the coffee of course.

I think the name is like that. Hahahaha. Don't look at this and think, 'Ha, I won't be full eating this?!' Because it's actually super filling. =/ This dish is only okay for me I guess. If there's a chance I would wanna try their grill fish instead. (:

Black Forest --

I think the name is jus Black Forest, maybe got more words but I don't remember already. Hahahaha. Hmm, it contains more alcohol than my Tiramisu Latte, that's what we both think. It's like the Tiramisu Latte tastes more of coffee while the Black Forest tastes more of alcohol.

Both is still nice! :D Oh yeah, silly said the berries in Black Forest is sour. =x

Assignment Rush

I've always enjoyed reading yuanxin's blog, it's always so interesting and filled with beautiful pictures! Unlike my blog which is always dull and boring. ):

Well, it's the assignment rush now, and I'm still being lazy. I shall pull up my socks and work on my assignments for tomorrow (since there's no school tomorrow), and wait patiently for silly to finish work. (:

MP is gone from my life

Ever have the feeling of a huge stone being lifted off your chest?

This is how I'm feeling today after 3pm! Even though the results of the MP is not something to be proud of, at least I would not need to stress about it anymore! Anyway, this kind of results is quite expected~

But we were not very happy because of some things, which would not be appropriate to be written here. (Only my team mates know what happened)

Either way, it has finally finished~! And I'm glad.

Ccom stuffs is also driving me crazy, but luckily I have it all covered. Just not sure if it's the right way to do it. There's still quiz tomorrow!

Meet my silly in the morning. Then I went back to Woodlands in the afternoon. While waiting for mom to come Causeway Point, I went to the library.

Looking through the cross stitching books. And you just know how much I love cross stitching. (: And so, I came across some meaningful phrases while looking through those stitching books.

I find the first one sweet and simple. Few words and it explained everything. (:

The second one gave me the feeling that everyone lives towards their last years. No matter how much you do not want your life to end soon, it would eventually come to an end. It gave me realisation that, life is short, and it would shorter if you keep thinking that it is short, when you do not have the time and mood to enjoy life as it is.

I climbed out of my cozy bed early in the morning! Meet my dearest at Boonlay, then we head to have our breakfast. (:

After the super full breakfast, we bused to Jurong East, then trained to Plaza Sing. (: Went back to engrave our rings. (: We walked around while waiting (2 hours), so I head to Spotlight and bought more threads. (: Browse though the cross stitch books, didn't see what we wanted. ):

The rings were not engraved like how we wanted it to be. =.=" So, it's quite disappointing. Baby was a bit pissed off by it. =x After collection, we went to Vivo City!

Walked around. We saw the interesting percussion performance. (: then we had our dinner at Burger King. (:

Silly is working tomorrow. ): But lucky I'm still meeting him in the morning. :D

Sakae-run-Movie!

As usual, met my silly baby early in the morning. We went to the temple. Then after that went back to his house.

We are so bored that we had a sudden thought of going to IKEA. And so off we go in a instant. (: Then we rushed back (cabbed) to silly's house, in time for my online meeting with my group members.

And when we were ready to go off for our movie, we were nearly late. =.="

Here's the movie that we've decided to watch since ages ago.

Legend of the Fist: Return of Chen Zhen

After reaching Causeway Point and before the movie starts, we decided to have Sakae Sushi for dinner. I'm eligible for the Youth buffet! :D Cheaper deals! (:

We were eating and rushing like mad cos we thought we would be late for our movie! =x There were many people at the Restaurant, and too little servers, that causes our orders to take extremely long to come to us. ):

Oh yeah, and they have this new pink plate thing. Meaning each person would be entitled to one pink plate in addition to the one red plate you have for the buffets. The pink plate Sushi are all quite nice! :D

When we could wait no longer, we asked the waitress whether we can takeaway our dessert. She was reluctant at first, but after she learnt that we were rushing for our movie, she just let us takeaway our ice-cream! :D And you know what would happen to those ice-cream, shhhhh.. (:

The movie was quite a disappointment. =x All the moves are almost too much exaggeration. =x That guy is still my idol nevertheless.

Friends' celebration for me

Woke up early in the morning today and I was going to be late to the talk at school. So I rushed and rushed, ended up the talk started late. =.=" Kinda pissed me off but I figured it's no biggie deal. LOL.

After that brief briefing about the course that would be eligible for us after we graduate, I went to photocopy some stuffs. I kinda forgotten how was it like to queue and photocopy in the school's printing shop. Too bad the engine printing shop cannot use computer already. O.o So we had to go to design's. Troublesome!

Then, we headed to Tampines Mall. Decided to eat Swensens cos there's the one-for-one promotion. (: - Yuan xin, Xin Rui, Jie Yan, Rui Yi and me!

We eat while waiting for Zhi Hua to finish her MP meeting.

When she came, she said she didn't wanna eat cos we've all finished eating. =.="

After that Silly surprised me w Chocolate cake. And it was ages since I last blown a candle. (: I was really happy and glad that Silly was the one celebrating with me at the strike of 12.

This morning, I woke up early and met my silly at BoonLay. We slacked awhile before going off to Bugis in the afternoon, bought what we went there for and off we went back to BoonLay.

Then in the evening we went to Causeway Point, couldn't decide where to eat. So we were thinking what we wanted to eat the last time round but wasn't able to. And what's came to our mind was, Crystal Jade! :D

In a blink of an eye, one year is almost gone and I'm going to be nineteen soon. This shows how fast passes and how it waits for no man. (:

Since my last birthday, many things had happened. Good and bad. (: From the lovely presents and surprises my lovely friends gave me, to awful things like some @#$%^ taking back the birthday present that he gave. =.=" The never ending projects and exams, the never enough holidays. Internship comes and goes, and the ending of my part time job abruptly. Well, I've learnt and understand from all these. This is life.

And it's not gonna always be perfect.

Five months ago, someone true stepped into my life. Holding me during all the bad times, listening to me complain about things, people, shits, celebrating all the happy times with me. And basically just being there for me.

Thinking about the times when we can chat on the phone for endless hours, one time it ended at about 6am. O.o Yes, that's how happy we are, and will be. (:

Many phases of my life had passed, and I know I've not much time to decide on my future. I just hope everything goes smoothly, as the way it had been planned since the start of my life. Nineteen years into my life, I believed I've grown up. (:

Silly came and fetched me after work. After much decision about the food choices plus our hungry stomach, we settled for Fish & co. at Changi Airport Terminal 2. (:

Summer in the City

Silly baby met me early in the morning 9am at Causeway Point. Initially we were supposed to be meeting at 8.30am. But silly woke up late or something so we met at 9am instead. (:

We planned to go Yishun Chong Pang for breakfast. (:

I ordered this for breakfast. Not so nice.. The other stall's is nicer. And scary baby bought many other things for breakfast - Carrot cake, You tiao, Tapioca Kuay and Soya Bean milk. We were super full from breakfast..

After breakfast, we bused to the MRT station and trained to Paya Lebar. (: Went to walk around Parkway Parade, and then we head back to Jurong Point cos I wanna buy new shoes!

Silly was always telling me how delicious the roti prata at the library near his house. So today, we've decided to packet some (da bao) back to his house as our breakfast.

Standing there, we decided that the roti prata isn't as appealing. So, we bought some other stuffs and I've forgotten what it's called. Then, we went to the library while waiting for our orders to be made. (: A DIY magazine caught my eye and I went to borrow it. (:

After breakfast, we head to Bugis cos Silly wanna buy something. (: We walked around Bugis after getting what he wanted. Then, we went to Chinatown. In search of the delicious desserts, we walked endless amount of streets, just to see that the shop is just somewhere near the busstop that we've alighted. =.=

Ate the delicious desserts - Almond paste mixed with sesame paste, carrot cake, yam cake, pumpkin cake. Yum Yum! Next we went to walk around, looking at cloths, didn't bought any because there're still like a ton of them at home which I didn't have the time and mood to turn them into something useful and pretty. =x

Had our dinner there. We were freaking full from breakfast and dessert that we still can't finish our dinner even though we bought little to share. =x

Then to the Arts Central we go.. Nothing much to look around there. So, we went outside the building where we can see the pretty lights and view of Clark Quay. (:

Extreme fun!

This extreme swing thing is providing us with entertainment as we sat down and watched. Looks like fun! (:

And we were lucky to see some fireworks because of the YOG event. (:

Xin rui was recommending me this drama series. (: And we watched during our free time. It's very nice! Though the crimes solved are abit lame, cos the clues are all presented in front of them, but the love story beneath is excellent!

To the doctor's

XinRui is sick and didn't come to work today. ): But she lend me her laptop so I wouldn't be bored and frustrated with my slow laptop. :D

Initially there should be a meeting with the boss at 3pm. But then he forgotten that he has a seminar to attend to, so we postponed the meeting to tomorrow instead. Now basically I'm like wasting and rotting my time away. I know I should get started in completing my log book. =x

But I've no idea what to write.

Later I'm going to accompany my silly to the doctor's. Hope all goes well. Can't wait to see him. And it's gonna be a long weekend ahead, that's why I'm so looking forward to it! (:

True Love

Went to Boonlay early in the morning. Baby met me at the interchange and we went to Boonlay Market to get our breakfast. (: Hmm.

After breakfast, we went back to his house. Slacked and ate our breakfast. And soon it's time to head to Sentosa!

Baby's Mommy invite me to their family outing at Sentosa Resorts this weekend. I was delighted and of course I'm going. We reached there at around 2 plus. Waited to check in into the hotel. We took turns looking at each other's rooms, before heading out for lunch.

We went to eat at the Chilli's. The pork ribs there are quite nice. And baby loves the ice-cream brownie there. *Laughs* After lunch was free time for everyone. Baby and me went to walk around while his parents visit the casino. There were a lot of people there man. =x

Our room is located right in the middle, so everything looks so centered. (: Baby's brother got the room opposite from ours, and of course, the view isn't half as beautiful. =x

We went to eat at the Chilli's. The pork ribs there are quite nice. And baby loves the ice-cream brownie there. *Laughs* After lunch was free time for everyone. Baby and me went to walk around while his parents visit the casino. There were a lot of people there man. =x

We initially wanted to go to the Universal Studios, but the tickets were sold out. ): Sadded. But it's okay, there would always be a next time. (: So we ended up walking around and enjoying ourselves with the things we haven't seen before. (quite sua gu lah!)

At 730pm we decided to go swim. =.=" And who knows when we got there, it says the operating hours for the pool is only till 8pm. Oh well, it's better than nothing, so we swam for 30 minutes, no actually is he swam and I played with the water. =x

Then we went back to our room to bathe, slacked awhile before heading out again to hunt for our dinner. (:

So the next day morning, we woke up at 8am while we slept at 4 plus the night before watching the television and drinking. (:

Baby's mommy came over our room and waited for us to get ready to go out for breakfast. After breakfast, we went to drink coffee at the Coffee Bean's.

After all the eating, we rush to the swimming pool as fast as we could. It was drizzling, but we didn't care. Went to sit in the cold Jacuzzi pool. It's was freezing cold!

Soon it was afternoon, and it was time to check out. After that we went to Marine Parade for awhile before heading back to baby's house.

We went out to have Pepper Lunch for dinner in the evening. After that baby and us sent his brother back to camp before going back to baby's house again. Rushing here and there the whole day. Hahahaha.

Some unhappy things happened before we had our dinner. =x

When it was time for me to go home, baby drove me home together with his Mommy. (:

Currently at baby's house now. I've been coming to Boonlay everyday since Monday. Friends ask, tired?

Tired? Of course. But I still feel it's worth it. Being able to see him everyday just makes my day a happy one. Mostly it's just work, work and more work, so meeting him to me is just like a bonus in my life.

People says, you guys can still talk on the phone if you guys arent' meeting. But do they know that it's different when you can look at the person in his eye and tell him things that you encountered during the day? It's different when you can share every little details of your everyday life and have someone concerned and interested about it.

Mostly, you get to see his reactions. Be it good or bad, why? It's all because of who you are to him. If not, why bother?

Currently waiting for him to clean up and we'll have dinner. (:

Few hours of seeing each other everyday is definitely better than few hours of sleep and slacking.

Marley & Me (:

I've been watching Marley & Me during my free time these few days. (Sorry it's kinda outdated, but who cares?!) And I honestly enjoyed this movie. (:

This movie touched on many emotions that we, normal human beings encounter each and everyday of our lives.

It shows how a couple can feel blissful and happy after marriage, anticipate and being greedy for new things in life, overwhelmed and frustrated when coping with children and work, unreasonably blaming everything else for what has happened, and then finally understands what should be the solutions.

Yesterday my sister brought home a poster from SPCA, and I find what was written was very true. "To you, he is just a dog, but, to him, you're everything".

They are really wonderful creatures that are sharing this Earth with us. (:

Anyway, baby and me are planning to get a dog in the near future.

I'm so excited and looking forward to then. (:

It's only 2pm. Sigh. 5 and a half more hours before seeing baby. ):

Time, this is the time when you're most needed to rush away like a rocket! =x

How would you define a team?

For myself, I never liked team work. But I still can work in a team. And that also depends what kind of members I have. (:

I feel, people in the same team should make the decisions together, even if you don't have any idea of how the decision should be made, at least say it out, so everyone would know. Voicing out possible solutions and opinions is a method to include everyone, taking care of each others' feelings. Isn't this what a team is about?

You don't go around making some big decisions and don't even disseminate the information. That, is not what a team player should do. Let alone say the team leader. (:
